I have a Best Buy xbox 360 warranty…..?
My xbox has got RROD for the third time, and I was thinking that with the third time they give you a new one no matter what. Is this correct?

I dont think so rarely will they give you a *NEW* Xb0x almost all will be repaired or sent back to Microsoft and if they say its *NEW* chances are its been refurbished and just looks nice… I have 2 Xb0x consoles just in case one breaks good luck!

Should I buy the Best Buy warranty for my xbox 360?
I just bought the XBox 360 Pro (excited!) from Best Buy. They have a deal where you can buy a $59.99 2-year warranty where they’ll replace the console with a new one the same-day. Should I buy it?
I’ve never misused a console. I’m 25 and started out with NES, then Sega Genesis, then PS1 and finally PS2 prior to buying the XBox 360. I’ve had the PS2 for 5 years with no problem!!!
Is it worth it to get the warranty? Is the 360 that susceptible to the red ring? I heard the earlier versions were, but what about one that I just bought (ie manufactured in 2007)?

Why does everyone keep saying there’s a 3-yr warranty for it? I read the warranty that came with mine and it said a limited warranty on the console of 1 year.

You really don’t need to since Microsoft pumped the warranty to cover the console for three years against the red ring of death.

Xbox 360 Warranty at Best Buy?
My Xbox is getting the rrod. I bought it in May ’08, so its under a year old. I bought it at Best Buy and I was wondering if I can just take it to Best Buy and exchange it or if I have to deal with Microsoft… Also, I want to know if I can buy the extended warranty at Best Buy now too.

If you didn’t get the extended warranty when you got the 360, then you can’t return it to Best Buy. Best Buy only lets you return a defective product within 30 days. You’ll have to deal with MS.
You can only get the extended warranty when you buy the item or if you bring it back to Best Buy within 30 days and let Best Buy check to see that it’s working properly.

Xbox 360 Elite and Best Buy Warranty?
Hi, i wanted to know if i buy an xbox 360 elite from best buy should i buy warranty for it or does it already come with warranty with microsoft?

Microsoft covers xbox 360′s for 3 years after you buy it for the RROD (most common problem with xbox 360′s).
Im not sure how long the standard warranty lasts for (90 days? Maybe a year, but i doubt it), but i wouldnt worry about this as youll likely never have any problem with the 360 except for the RROD (which microsoft covers for free)

Xbox 360 Pro Best Buy Warranty?
If my box 360 breaks tommorow and i turn it in at best buy which i already have a 2 year warranty on my xbox do i get a new xbox or do they give me nothing and waste my money

Maybe.
Best Buy might try to get someone(not from Microsoft) to fix it. If it can’t be fixed, u’ll get a new Xbox 360.
